WWE: 10 Things That Must Happen Before 2014 Ends

9. R-Truth And Xavier Woods Must Break Up

WWE.comWWE.comAfter a memorable run in TNA as Consequences Creed, Austin Watson jumped ship to WWE in 2010 where he was given the name Xavier Woods. He spent several years down in WWE's developmental system NXT before being brought up to the main roster in November 2013. In his debut match, he and R-Truth defeated 3MB. On paper, the pairing of Woods and Truth was a great idea as it added to the tag team division and gave Woods a launching pad right off the bat. Unfortunately, Woods' alliance with Truth would ultimately be the death of his character. Truth, who hasn't been relevant since 2011, has done absolutely nothing to help Woods get over in any way. Most fans can't even remember the last time he won a match on WWE TV. He has served as an enhancement talent down in NXT to the likes of Rusev, Brodus Clay and others. When you become a jobber to the NXT rookies, that's when you know you're going nowhere. Anyone who knows Woods from his time in TNA is very well aware that he can go in the ring and is extremely charismatic. The fact WWE has allowed his talent to go to waste is still mind boggling. I'm not even sure a heel turn can do Woods any good by this point, but it'd be better than what he's right now which is... well, nothing. Woods and Truth have gone as far as they can as a team (which is nowhere) and it's time for them to go their separate ways. Hopefully Woods can be demoted to NXT for a few months to be repackaged before he's brought back to the main roster. Husky Harris' transformation to Bray Wyatt, anyone?
