2014 may be a banner year for Adam Rose but it has been a long, arduous journey for him to get to the main roster. Debuting in 2010, he has performed for the company's developmental program for four years and watched as others rose up the ranks, debuted on Raw and SmackDown and collected dozens of championships. He has competed against some of the brightest young stars in the industry and, despite beating many of them and showing great fundamental skill in doing so, remained in the same position he was originally. He has seen Florida Championship Wrestling become NXT and has watched as management put a greater emphasis on the young stars of the brand over the last year. He has seen dozens of young hopefuls come and go. And yet, the company had enough faith in him to keep him around until he was finally able to break out and gain the following they knew that he could. The patience the company has shown and the perseverance shown by Rose prove that he and the company have been dedicated to his development as a performer. The Rose character was the final missing piece of the puzzle and now, he has everything he needs to succeed on the biggest stage he will ever have competed on.
