7. He Held The FCW Heavyweight Championship
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFG4OYTmDOo 2011 was a very good year for Leo Kruger, who achieved great success in Florida Championship Wrestling, the precursor to today's NXT. He was clearly one of the rapidly rising stars in the promotion and by the time Bo Rotundo (later Bo Dallas) was injured and forced to surrender his FCW Championship, he was seen as one of the top contenders to win the vacant title. He tore through Percy Watson and earned himself a match against Dean Ambrose, Damien Sandow and Rotundo's brother, Husky Harris (later Bray Wyatt). He won that match and earned his first heavyweight championship. He would hold the title for four months before dropping it to Mike Dalton, who would go on to become Tyler Breeze. It was a shocking loss and one no one could have expected at the time. Fortunately, it was a short-lived title reign for Dalton as Kruger regained the title three weeks later. Throughout his reign, Kruger was very much a working champion. While he was never the center of attention like a champion should be, he did the best with what he was given and carried the title with respect. His reign ended in February of 2012 when he lost the championship to Seth Rollins. Speaking of whom...
