WWE: 10 Times Triple H Saw Something He Liked And Booked Himself Into It

1. The Shield

The Shield have became a key part of WWE television since debuting at Survivor Series 2012. They've been involved in several major programmes, consistently impressing with their excellent in-ring work. Roman Reigns in particular is perceived as one of the hottest guys in the company. Ambrose and Rollins aren't far behind, Rollins might be the finest worker in the company on his given day. Should we be surprised then that the long planned Shield breakup and singles ascension of Reigns has been cancelled in favour of a face Shield versus Triple H's Evolution? The Game has clearly been impressed by the group and wanted to get in on the act. He also gets to work with his two buddies, Batista and Randy Orton. It's the very latest act of a man who is quick to use his backstage stroke to get all the hottest angles and matches in the company. Should he be more responsible, should he share out the top spots he has taken in a better fashion? Perhaps, certainly in the case of Punk and Lesnar, those spots would have been better used against other stars. But Triple H wanted them and Paul Levesque-McMahon is in a position to get what he wants. Let's just be glad he sometimes ends up giving us great matches along the way.
