WWE: 10 Times Triple H Saw Something He Liked And Booked Himself Into It

6. Sheamus

When Sheamus debuted in WWE during 2009, he was hardly your archetypal WWE Superstar. He had the height and a brawling style, but he was Irish with shocking ginger hair and ghost white skin. Then one day, he started training with Triple H in the gym. Hunter was impressed by Sheamus's confidence to come to him and his openness to learn. Funnily enough, the Irishman then ended up WWE Champion within the year, and got a major WreslteMania 26 match against none other than Triple H. It's reminiscent of Orton being a Hunter project who instantly got elevated despite no natural clamouring among the fans to see it. Sheamus got to become Champion by defeating the face of the franchise John Cena, he then went on to face Triple H ... it sounds a whole lot like Hunter pushed his buddy, established him in the limelight, then worked with him at WrestleMania. The fans opinion didn't matter in any of this. Sheamus vs Triple H only happened because Hunter wanted it.
