WWE: 10 Triple H Feuds That Totally Sucked

7. Goldberg in 2003

When WWE brought Goldberg in after WrestleMania 19 in 2003 he was immediately put into a feud with The Rock, which was pretty enjoyable thanks to Rock's over the top heel persona. Goldberg mowed through other heels on the roster before he got to Triple H at SummerSlam, where he was unable to win in an Elimination Chamber match. Goldberg ended up beating Hunter for the World Title at Unforgiven, which is obviously not a major show compared to something like SummerSlam. They should have done it at SummerSlam. Goldberg's title reign saw him have only one PPV title defense against Triple H at Survivor Series and then Hunter got another title shot at Armageddon where Goldberg lost the title thanks to plenty of interference from Evolution. The point of the feud was to make Goldberg look like a bigger star. Even though he had a brief run as the World Champion it really didn't work. The booking upset Goldberg so much that he had no interest in staying in WWE after his year was up. To this day, over a decade after leaving WWE, Goldberg still criticizes Hunter a lot.
