10. Repo Man
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUloyxPWZGI We start the countdown with a rather technically gifted wrestler. Barry Darsow received much of his most well known exposure in the WWE as one half of the tag team Demolition, replacing Randy Colley as 'Smash' alongside 'Crush', going on to win the WWE Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania IV and holding the belts for a record 16 months. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, with Crush deciding to leave the WWE for a year and Smash being left as a singles card wrestler, who (as you might have guessed) didn't have much to do outside the typical tag gimmick that he'd come to be known for. Darsow was eager to remain in the WWE and they were obviously eager to keep him, so a new gimmick was decided, with Barry playing the role of the 'Repo Man' who would come and take back items that people had purchased on credit and not been able to keep up the repayments with. Naturally, to the largely working class fan base of the WWE, this was someone to be despised for the very act he embodied. Repo rivalled with a number of top wrestlers (including The British Bulldog and Randy Savage) and lost to almost every single one of them. His character was introduced in late 1991 and lasted less than a year; he was last featured on PPV being eliminated by Randy Savage at the Royal Rumble to officially end their feud. Repo represented a character who was almost assured to be a heel from the moment he first reposed a car on screen, his feud with Savage was originally based around stealing Savage's hat on Monday Night Raw and his matches (of which he lost virtually every one he wrestled) were lacking in the technical experience deserving of a wrestler of his calibre. Darsow and Repo made a rare appearance at Wrestlemania 17 as part of a special Gimmick Battle Royal. According to guest commentator Bobby Heenan (although this cannot be confirmed as the camera didn't pick it up) the Repo Man was eliminated first from the match, just a second after the bell rang, though we doubt that many people in attendance that night really cared too much.
