But what can you expect from a match between a cross dresser and a hillbilly? Many of those on this list are obvious big name candidates and ones likely everybody hates and have no qualms trashing till the end of time. This largely forgotten encounter (either because people never saw it or suppressed the memories) was geared as a harmless filler used to kill time - a very common occurrence in the early years of Mania. This was the worst of the lot. The match can be summed up by the very first move as Elmer throw an embarrassing punch and fell down backwards himself. Yes, you read that right. Adonis may have been past his physical prime here, having gained a lot of weight, yet he still carried the match against the hugely overweight farmer in his late 40s. Adonis' tremendous work and selling probably prevents this being even higher on the countdown. Adonis was simply an excellent bump taker. Lasting a bare 3 minutes, this contained zero entertainment value and accomplished nothing. Scarily though, this is a contender for best Uncle Elmer match and highlight of his career. That just about says it all.
