WWE: 11 Reasons Brock Lesnar Breaking The Streak Is Justified

2. Brock's Fighting Credentials

If some of the greatest superstars of all time - including Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kane, and Edge - were unsuccessful in breaking the streak, it is undeniably a bit far-fetched in terms of story-telling to openly give the prestigious win to a superstar that hasn't even made their mark in the industry yet. It would feel like the right business decision considering that potentially the sky is the limit for an upcoming superstar that breaks the streak, but sometimes a good business decision isn't necessarily a logical one in the grand scheme of things. Realistically, the only competitors left with the pedigree and accolades of stars like those mentioned above are few and far between. The one that surpasses them all - whether it's John Cena or the much-desired Sting - in terms of both iconic stature and strength is Brock Lesnar. Not only did he win the WWE Championship against The Rock in his debut year, he's a legitimate UFC Champion and generally considered one of the toughest athletes on the planet. He is also currently booked in WWE as a monster with no remorse for anyone or anything, whether it's Triple H's arm or Taker's streak.
