WWE: 12 Criminal Gimmicks That Should Have Lead To Jail Time
4. 'Taker "Abducts" Stephanie McMahon
Crime: Abduction. Being the boss' children can be an issue if the boss in question is walking target Vince McMahon. Just ask Shane McMahon's nether regions. In 1999, during the inaugural Backlash event, Undertaker abducted Stephanie and disappeared with instructions for Vince to hand over ownership of the WWF to him and the Ministry in return for the safe return of his beloved daughter. Vince agreed, but 'Taker pulled a switcheroo on him and instead of meeting him to take possession of his ransom, he turned up on Raw with Stephanie tied to the Ministry's symbol (which looked suspiciously and rather uncomfortably like a crucifix) and attempted to forcibly marry himself into the McMahon clan. Despite fending off attempted rescues by Ken Shamrock and Big Show, and saying "I do" himself, 'Taker was thwarted when an incensed Stone Cold appeared, disgusted at the attempt to ruin the holy constitution of marriage and kicked Ministry tail with near comic precision. And then the police turned up and arrested everyone for abduction and false imprisonment... Or not, since the laws in the WWE universe aren't quite so clear-cut. Punishment: Life.
