WWE: 12 Divas Who Wrestled Men

2. Beth Phoenix

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XoREodDhJI With her distinct strength and power advantage over the other Divas, the question was always asked as to whether or not Beth Phoenix was capable of wrestling men, and although she never did full-time, the Glamazon had the occasional brush with entering the division now and again. Beth had her first singles match with a man in 2008, defeating Intercontinental champion Santino Marella after he issued an open challenge. Instead of a feud developing, an unexpected romance happened, and Glamarella was forever burned into our memories. Her most famous contest with men is probably the 2010 Royal Rumble match, where she entered as the #6 entrant. Phoenix was only the second woman to have ever entered the Royal Rumble, and the first to do so unannounced. Beth famously eliminated The Great Khali, and would almost eliminate CM Punk. Her time in the match was the longest of any Diva in history, including the total time of Chyna's two appearances. While Chyna broke ground by entering the Rumble first, Beth did it better. Now seemingly retired, it seems as the question of Beth potentially competing against men probably won't be answered.
