WWE: 12 Former TNA & WCW Stars Who Didn't Live Up To Expectations

10. Sean O'Haire

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQynC3pq_8E A product of the WCW's training school the Power Plant, O'Haire made his debut teaming with fellow graduate Mark Jindrak defeating the Filthy Animals in their debut. They would go on to become part of The Natural Born Thrillers group and the two captured the WCW Tag Team Championships twice. After a team switch around, O'Haire ended up teaming with Chuck Palumbo as Tag Team Champions seeing off teams such as The Insiders, Team Canada and Totally Buffed. The two were still champions when WCW was purchased by WWE, defending them successfully against Team Canada on the final episode of Nitro. At the beginning of The Invasion angle the team came across as WCW Tag Team Champions, clashing with the likes of the Hardy Boys and the APA, but they would drop the titles to The Brothers of Destruction and fail to recapture them in a Steel Cage rematch. After WCW were defeated by WWE at Survivor Series, O'Haire was dropped to OVW and some random tag pairings on Heat before eventually returning to the main roster repackaged as a Devil's advocate of sorts. Not long after this he became managed by 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper and got victories over the biggest names on SmackDown roster, but sadly for O'Haire, Piper got released ending his push as Velocity became his new home. Subsequently, a motorcycle accident injured him and he was never seen on WWE television again. Final Assessment: O'Haire possessed a lot of potential, both as a tag team wrestler and in the singles division: he was gifted on the microphone and whilst a bit green certainly showed enough to build upon and had a unique finisher in his Widow Maker. WWE gave him a big push when paired with Piper, but as soon as he was released O'Haire was entirely forgotten about.
