WWE: 12 Former TNA & WCW Stars Who Didn't Live Up To Expectations

9. Consequences Creed

Creed debuted in TNA in big fashion as the replacement for Adam 'Pacman' Jones as Ron Killings tag team partner at Bound For Glory, and while R-Truth was released from the company he was signed to a contract, and joined the X-Division. He would climb the ranks and get a few unsuccessful shots at champion Petey Williams. He then joined The Frontline against the group of legends known as The Main Event Mafia, before fellow Frontline member Jay Lethal picked Creed to team with him for his Feast or Fired Tag Team Championship shot and the two won the titles from Beer Money, Inc. Under the name Lethal Consequences the duo would team for most of the year, but dropped the titles only three days after winning them. Creed would end up released the following year. WWE signed Creed over a year later, and he went straight to the development territories. When NXT swapped its format to air the development territory Creed, now dubbed Xavier Woods, had a gimmick that saw him show love for 90's pop culture such as listening to a Walkman during his entrances. He made his way to Raw reuniting with R-Truth to defeat 3MB, and the following week he would enter to Brodus Clay's music and Funkadactyls, leading to a feud between Brodus and the team of Woods and Truth. Sadly for Woods, he was used as the squash victim to make Clay's heel turn look threatening while Truth took the glory. Woods hasn't been seen on Raw or SmackDown in recent months, and even lost his advertised place in the Royal Rumble to surprised commentator JBL. Final Assessment: Creed has a big upside thanks to his natural charisma and athleticism, not to mention that he is studying for a PhD after already possessing a Masters and two degrees as a Bachelor of Arts. He will be the first professional wrestler to have a PhD when he qualifies and is still contracted to WWE so there is still a lot of time for WWE to capitalise, but for now he has not received much from creative.
