Like Trish Stratus, Lita is far more accomplished as a wrestler than a valet. Lita, however, had a bigger impact as a valet than Trish. She may have been one of the more casually dressed valets in WWE, but was no less effective. Lita rose to stardom as the biggest fan and manager of the Hardy Boyz. She was so different from the more polished beauties of the Attitude Era. Her punk look and personality were perfect for Team Extreme. She got over with the live crowds by hitting a diving moonsault on Hardy opponents any chance she could. It was certainly more exciting than the standard low blow for which valets were typically counted on. Lita's look and attitude were not the only aspects of her real life she brought in to heighten the WWE product. Her messy breakup with Matt Hardy and affair with Edge were used to make compelling television and a lot of money. Lita was critical in Edge taking his solo wrestling career to another level as the Rated-R superstar and capturing his first WWE Championship.
