WWE: 12 Life Lessons From Ultimate Warrior's 'One Warrior Nation'

4. Meditate

Like the healthy eating rule, the concept of meditation can be explained and interpreted in many ways, but Warrior keeps it simple: take some quiet time every day to reflect on your life. Focus on your breathing and try to nurture a peaceful feeling within. The idea of insulating yourself from negativity is a common theme in Warrior€™s rules. And while I think some of his rules (especially when applied in such absolute terms) are a bit unrealistic and self-centered, meditation isn€™t one of them. Quiet time can often provide the perfect opportunity to put things in perspective, especially the negative things €“ just as exercise can do. Giving one€™s mind a rest can be very beneficial. It allows time for gratitude to flow naturally into your consciousness. And if the mission is to find the genius within, meditation sounds like a necessary practice. When you give yourself time away from the chaos of daily life, you can better recognize what makes you tick.
