WWE: 12 Life Lessons From Ultimate Warrior's 'One Warrior Nation'

5. Tell People You Love Them

This rule was heartbreaking to read, in light of Warrior€™s week before he passed away: his Hall of Fame speech, his speech on Raw, and the way he conducted himself with his wife and children (further proof of which appeared in Dana Warrior€™s letter to fans last week). Here is an excerpt from Warrior€™s rule about expressing your love: €œTell the ones that you love that you love them, every chance you get, because you never know when your chances will run out€ life doesn€™t come to an end with a date and time announcement. One moment someone is here, the next moment they are not. And even when we know an end is coming, we can never be fully prepared. Love for someone is the greatest booster of happiness for our hearts, and one day down the road, the greatest breaker of it too. You never know when, none of us do. But if you take advantage of every chance you get, you won€™t ever have to wonder if your loved ones always knew.€ No need for interpretation or questioning. And while we can only assume that Warrior followed his other rules, his adherence to this rule couldn€™t have been more evident. He never missed an opportunity to show his love for his family, a practice that will keep him alive in their hearts now that he€™s gone.
