WWE: 12 Most Memorable Animal Sidekicks

5. Al Snow's Tragic Pooch, Pepper

In the summer of 1999, Al Snow's inanimate object and best friend Head was destroyed. That didn't stop him from being crazy, however, and he soon found a new best friend in a little chihuahua pooch named Pepper. While the two became fast friends Al Snow didn't count on Big Boss Man coming between them. Boss Man had a tendency to be a big jerk. While he might be well known for driving away with the Big Show's daddy's casket and sending Show tumbling to the cold hard ground after a brief casket surf, this wasn't even the worst scheme the Boss Man cooked up. A few months prior during a feud with Snow over the Hardcore title, Bossman would pull an "Islander" and dognap Pepper. A distraught Snow would fight to get him back but Boss Man had other ideas. Inviting Snow over to his hotel room to seemingly apologize, Big Boss Man insisted Al dine on a fresh piece of steak before they talked business. A few mouthfuls in, Boss Man revealed Snow was in the middle of eating Pepper!
An unfortunate, though memorable, end for a man's best friend. Also unfortunate was the fact Al Snow, physically ill and mentally drained, would have to endure one last round of embarrassment and torture. The kidnapping, death, and dining on of Pepper would lead to the universally panned Kennel from Hell match which featured a ring surrounded by dogs relieving themselves.
