WWE: 13 Most Horribly Offensive Gimmicks Wrestlers Ever Took On
11. Hornswoggle The Leprechaun
For as long as there has been pro wrestling, there have been midget professional wrestlers. The WWE has had several prominent small superstars over the years, such as Dink The Clown who would accompany Doink during the nineties. Others included Max Mini, Mini Mankind, and Mini Vader, and lets not forget that the Juniors division the WWE created in 2005. The most successful smaller superstar ever is almost certainly Hornswoggle. He's been a regular character since 2006, and played major roles in major angles. Regardless of his success Hornswoggle makes the list because his character is a leprechaun who supposedly lived under the ring, and who upon his introduction was supposedly was unable to talk. He was little more than a prop of Fit Finlays. He has always been used as a comical character, but many of the jokes are at his expense. For example he was the last ever WWE Cruiserweight Champion, although his winning it was more a sign of the WWE's contempt for the title rather than their admiration for Hornswoggle. He was also said to be Vince McMahon's secret son for a brief period. Again however, he was not chosen for this position for his positive attributes, but rather because he was seen as being an embarrassment to Vince McMahon.
