WWE: 13 Worst Mic Users In Wrestling History

9. John Morrison

When John Morrison left the WWE, one cannot help but feel that the WWE were worse off. The guy was one of the most athletic superstars on the roster and with a move set that was unique and captivating to watch, there was no doubt that there was a place for him on the roster. However, there is also no doubt that what mic skills Morrison displayed simply were not enough to see him become anything more than a midcard player (though he did have the occasional world title match - most memorably against John Cena and the Miz at Extreme Rules). This actually had a lot to do with the gimmick he was lumped with: Morrison undoubtedly does look a lot like Jim Morrison from the Doors but unfortunately he didn't have Jim Morrison's dark and sexy charisma. Furthermore, the writing that he had to put up with was pretty terrible and showed that what the WWE actually knew about Jim Morrison was very little indeed. Add to that the fact that the former Johnny Nitro has rated himself as pretty average on the microphone and it's pretty obvious why his mic work was fairly shoddy.
