WWE: 14 Greatest Ever Moments When Superstars Got Revenge

2. Rey Mysterio Wins Custody Of Dominick Against Eddie Guerrero

Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero were close friends and in February 2005 they captured the WWE Tag Team Championships. Despite this Eddie, under persuasion from Chavo, insisted on the two facing each other at WrestleMania instead of defending the championships as they traditionally would. Rey ended up winning the match and Eddie, despite being visibly frustrated, congratulated his partner in good sportsmanship. In the following weeks the two struggled to remain on the same page, leading to them losing the championships to MNM in April. The following week they received their rematch, but Guerrero turned his back on Rey and left him alone in the match. Despite this a week later Guerrero would save Rey from a post-match attack by MNM and Chavo Guerrero and seemingly patch things up but then unleashed a brutal attack on his former partner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoRXf8ZYMqo Things would get even more personal two months later, when Eddie threatened to reveal a secret about Rey and his son Dominick. Both the Mysterio and Guerrero families tried to stop Eddie, culminating in a match at the Great American Bash with the stipulation that if Rey won the secret would not be revealed. Despite Rey getting the victory, Eddie revealed it anyway on the following episode of SmackDown. Guerrero revealed that he, not Rey, was the biological father of Dominick through a series of dark segments he titled 'Eddie's Bedtime Stories'. The story went that Eddie had a child out of wedlock during his marital issues and then allowed Rey and his wife to adopt him as they were struggling to conceive. This led to a battle for the custody of Dominick which was put on the line in a ladder match at SummerSlam. Thanks to help from Eddie's wife Vickie Guerrero (who was not an employee at the time), Rey won the match and celebrated ringside with his son and wife. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMGJRFFygpQ In an unusual side note, Eddie would also get a sense of revenge eventually, finally getting a victory over Rey in a cage match a few weeks later on SmackDown.
