WWE: 14 Greatest Ever Moments When Superstars Got Revenge

8. Daniel Bryan Leaves The Wyatt Family

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cny4Q0tILRE After months of being stopped at every turn by The Authority in his pursuit of the WWE Championship, Bryan's direction took a swift turn as he was viciously attacked backstage the night after the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view by The Wyatt Family. The Wyatts had also took to targeting fellow fan favourite CM Punk, so the two teamed together at Survivor Series to defeat the Family's Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. But as Punk would find himself the target of WWE's other three man wrecking crew The Shield, Bryan found himself alone in the targeted attacks by Bray Wyatt and co. Despite constantly attacking Bryan, Bray Wyatt would also continuously try to recruit him to join the Family stating that Bryan was being held back by his prioritising of the fans support. Bryan would refuse and was put in a 3-on-1 handicap match against the Family at TLC. Despite putting up a good effort Bryan eventually fell to the numbers and lost the match. Two weeks later on the final Raw of 2013 Bryan was given the opportunity to finally face Bray Wyatt one-on-one. If he could get through both members of his Family respectively in a gauntlet match. Despite taking a beating, Bryan defeated Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in succession. Bryan, beaten and broken, finally got his hands on the leader Bray Wyatt. Wyatt began with his back turned, offering the severely weakened Bryan a free shot, but Harper and Rowan both attacked him whilst Wyatt sat in the corner singing. Wyatt proclaimed that this is where their story ends. Bryan shockingly agreed, with a speech about how no matter what he cannot beat "the machine" and asked to join the Wyatt Family. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuYyjjxf7Cc For the weeks that Bryan was a part of the Family he was clearly not an equal member. Harper took heavy exception to his presence, and Wyatt would routinely punish him with a Sister Abigail after their contests. This led to the main event of the January 13th episode of Raw, which saw Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan team together to face the Family's rivals The Usos inside a steel cage. The Usos would pick up the victory by escaping the cage, and Wyatt would once again begin the post-match punishment of Bryan. Only this time when he went for the Sister Abigail Bryan pushed him away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttiGTC5B2gg As the WWE Universe leaped to their feet with Yes chants, Bryan unleashed a merciless attack on Wyatt, including using him as a battering ram to stop the Family from climbing into the cage for the save. Bryan would end the show sat on top of the cage leading the arena in the Yes chants in an unforgettable image that recalled the old Attitude Era days.
