It's understandable when you have wrestlers like Iron Sheik, Muhammad Hasan, and Abdullah the Butcher purposefully antagonising Americans, but when chanted at wrestlers who happen to not be ethnically or originally from America? It's all a little uncomfortable. Even more ludicrous is when you take into account Cesaro in the Real Americans - the fans used to chant "USA!" at him, and now they're putting their hands over their hearts shouting, "We the People!" with a Swiss man. It's hypocritical and inconsistent, and especially annoying when the performer is not even trying to antagonise Americans and the USA. Del Rio mocking you and talking about how great Mexico is? Good opportunity to chant "USA!" and defend your country's honour. Chanting it at someone who wasn't born and brought up in the country however, is plan pigheaded, rude, and annoying.
