WWE: 15 Memorable Staples Center Moments

10. July 21st 2003, Raw - Kane's Path Of Rage

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_a6ndKsIXc This summer episode of Raw in 2003, took place after the controversial unmasking of Kane. After Kane destroying some WWE superstars and even setting JR on fire, fingers were being pointed at Raw GM Stone Cold Steve Austin for letting it all happen. This Raw was to be visited by Linda McMahon, to allegedly fire the Rattlesnake for letting things spiral out of control. Instead, Linda said that Kane is the only one responsible for his actions. In response to the bickering between the Co General Managers, Linda gave them both the night off and said that Kane would still be facing Rob Van Dam in that night€™s main event. Kane arrived for his main event match in shackles and accompanied by a police escort. Not long into the match, it degenerated into a brawl and spilled out of the ring. Fighting up the ramp, Kane threw RVD into the Raw staging which short circuited one of the screens. A group of referees and officials came to the stage to stop the carnage, but were shoved aside as Kane made a break for Linda McMahon. Despite an attempted save from Jerry Lawler, Kane couldn€™t be stopped. He picked up Linda McMahon and drilled her on the steel stage with a shocking (albeit very safe looking) Tombstone Piledriver. Not forgotten in the chaos of this episode of Raw, LA was once again treated to a classic Raw encounter. In a rematch of their fantastic match at Wrestlemania 19, Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels once again stole the show in a match that lasted almost a half hour. This time it was Y2J who picked up the win, making Shawn Michaels submit to the Walls of Jericho.
