WWE: 15 Most Important Undercard Matches In WrestleMania History

4. The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDl5oiTW9_I WWE.com just recently listed it as the greatest match in Wrestlemania history. Literally millions of people worldwide share this view too. It won every Match of the Year award there is, its praise seems universal. What's baffling is that every man and his dog was expecting and predicting essentially the same BEFORE the event. Yet the two World Title Matches, both poor or mediocre depending on your view were assigned to follow this one. That was a mistake. Yet how many times have we now seen it? Perhaps the question that needs to be asked is not how many times a match that WASN'T the main event stole the show but how many times one that WAS actually did. Off of the top of my head, I just counted 9. 9 out of 29 times I would consider the actual main event the best match of its respective Wrestlemania card. There isn't much more I can say about this particular match that hasn't already been said so I wont waste everybody's time. It stands at the pinnacle of the pinnacle of professional wrestling.
