11. Taka Michinoku
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwZQav4gE8s Wrestling has a rich history in Japan, with many considering the output of Japanese promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) to be the best that the world has to offer. A few Japanese performers have opted to cross the Pacific Ocean and try their hand in the WWE over the years, however. One such man was Taka Michinoku. Debuting in the WWE (following a brief ECW stint) to a strong reception in 1997, Michinoku was soon joined on the roster by a group of other Japanese wrestlers known as Kai En Tai, who he initially feuded with despite having been part of the stable following its creation in Japan. He soon joined the group to feud with Val Venis, however, leading to the infamous angle where the group 'choppy choppied' the wrestling porn star's penis. When members Dick Togo, Mens Teioh and Yamaguchi-San left the company, Michinoku continued teaming with the sole remaining member, Funaki, as a comedy jobber tag team, despite having held the Light Heavyweight championship as a solo performer. Known for skits in which they badly lip synced to monologues played over the arena sound system, the pair never made it into a Rumble match, though they did randomly invade the 2000 event on several occasions as non-participants, being quickly thrown out of the ring each time. Michinoku would return to Japan after four years with the WWE in 2001, and continues to perform for NJPW as a ring veteran of sorts.
