WWE: 15 Reasons The Undertaker Streak Ended At WrestleMania 30

1. Undertaker Did What He Wanted

The concluding point about Undertaker is that it was his decision. He one hundred percent believed it was the right thing to do in ending the streak. Undertaker is a man who has earned the right to do whatever he likes in WWE, so when it came down to it, the streak ended simply because it was what Undertaker wanted. While some fans are going mad and tweeting hate to the WWE about it, ultimately this was Taker's decision which he did to make himself happy. He got his own way. The likes of Stephanie, Hunter, Vince or even Brock wouldn't have had much of a say. When someone like Undertaker decides he wants to end the streak, he wants to relieve himself of the responsibility, you just have to go with it. Perhaps there are bigger implications of WWE using the loss to establish Undertaker in a rematch setting with Brock down the line, or perhaps it allows Taker to face Sting next year without the constraint of the streak suffocating the pair. We just don't know. Right now the safest bet is that Undertaker retires. Ultimately, I think Taker wanted to end the streak because he knew his time was up and he wanted closure. It showed last night that he doesn't really belong in the ring any more, he was struggling. Taking the legacy further is pointless at this stage. He has done it all and done it better than anyone. The time was right to mark the end of his career and pass his streak on to someone who can benefit from it.
