WWE: 15 Things That Would Greatly Improve WrestleMania

8. Reduce The PPV Price

Sums of money in the region of sixty dollars are way too much to pay for a wrestling show. The WWE are now allowing fans to view events on the WWE Network, so that helps negate the problem of cost to a degree, but it also only highlights just how badly the PPV customers are getting ripped off. The WrestleMania concept is a special commodity, but it would be greatly improved if it was just a little bit cheaper on PPV, it would inevitably convince some on-the-fence fans to purchase the show. While many fans will watch on the Network, a great portion are still going to watch via the traditional pay per view method. Even some Network subscribers are stating they will order the PPV anyway, not wanting to take any chances with the whispered perils of streaming on the night. Will pay per view still be around by the time of WrestleMania 31? I think so. Long term it will be killed off by the Network, but a year from now I still envision WrestleMania being available on pay per view. PPV distributor Dish Network is right, WWE need to bring their PPV price more in line with the Network. It's fair to the fans.
