11. Wrestlemania 19 (2003)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0mI4WvHSm0 Yeah yeah, how can a Wrestlemania be included on a list of underrated Pay Per Views, you might ask? I personally think this is one of the Top 3 Wrestlemanias of all time, and it doesnt get nearly the amount of praise that Wrestlemania X7 gets (and with good reason, because X7 might be the greatest Pay Per View of all time). But when you look at this show, you get three matches that I would rate four stars or higher: Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho, Steve Austin vs. The Rock, and Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle. At the time, it was amazing to see Shawn Michaels back at Wrestlemania after four years away, when it seemed like his career would be over. So its great to look back in hindsight at his first Mania match back, and the quality of the match, knowing he made an entire second career from 2002 to 2010. To this day, Mania 19 stands as Steve Austins last match, which wasnt explicitly known at the time of airing, but becomes obvious when you look back 11 years later. And Lesnar vs. Angle, botched finish aside, was one of those big time fights that lived up to the billing. Unfortunately, you have to also endure the burial of Booker T on this show. Witness in terror as Triple H hits a flimsy pedigree on Book and takes nearly 15 seconds to pin him, deflating the entire arena. Between this act, and everything I mentioned in my Elimination Chamber article a couple weeks ago, 2003 was really a bad year for my appreciation of The Game. Oh, and don't forget the Miller Lite Girls! You did? Well...I don't blame you...
