WWE 1998 PPVs From Worst To Best

6. Fully Loaded

The Good: Val Venis continued to show why he was one of the best workers in the company during his opening match victory over Jeff Jarrett. The crowd were on fire for Venis and Venis entered a red-hot performance as a result. Ken Shamrock and Owen Hart had the first ever 'Dungeon Match' which took place in Stu Hart's infamous basement. What a novel concept. The Rock and Triple H had a good 2/3 falls match, albeit one which was inferior to the bonafide classics they'd have later. The Kane and Mankind versus Austin and Undertaker headliner set up SummerSlam wonderfully. The Bad: The company tried to make Bradshaw a monster heel by having him turn on bizarrely loveable Terry Funk. It didn't really work and the calamitous Brawl for All tournament would seriously hurt his momentum later in the year. LOD versus The DOA was awful, as usual. How could the WWF not see that the LOD were completely past-it? The Rest: Sable and Jacqueline continued their flesh-flaunting tour of the United States. This time Sable came out, er, on top by pulling off her t-shirt and revealing a set of handprints covering her breasts. Jerry Lawler's reaction was priceless.
