3. The Zombie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UaY4idyLww You would think that by 2006 WWE would know better than to create stupid characters, but when ECW premiered on Sci-Fi they sent out a character named The Zombie. The story behind it was that since they were going to be on the Sci-Fi channel (now named Syfy), they should have some characters that might appeal to viewers of that channel. Because of that, The Zombie was on the first episode of ECW. He walked to the ring with his arms extended and had makeup on his face to look like a zombie. He grabbed the microphone for a promo: "Uhhhhhhh! Uhhhhh! Uhhhhhh!" That was the whole promo. The announcers Joey Styles and Tazz made fun of it. Then Sandman walked to the ring, destroyed The Zombie with a series of kendo stick shots and that was the end of The Zombie in WWE. As Styles pointed out, it was the first official match of ECW on Sci-Fi. And the last one for The Zombie.
