WWE: 20 Best PPVs Of All Time

17. No Mercy 2008

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-OLZ8lLbyI Highlights: Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels, Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy, Big Show vs. The Undertaker The second half of 2008 was a great time for WWE largely because of the Jericho/Michaels feud that is among the best ever in company history. It was incredibly well built with Jericho performing at his very best as the confident heel while Michaels was the babyface veteran that could still go. Their ladder match for the World Title that main evented No Mercy 2008 is one of the best matches of either man's career. There was also an excellent match between Jeff Hardy and Triple H where it sure felt like Jeff Hardy was finally going to be WWE Champion. After a 20 minute match that was great, Hunter ended up with the win although it was not in dominant fashion. Another match that I really liked was Big Show vs. Undertaker just because it was booked in a way that put Show over huge. He didn't just beat Undertaker. He knocked him out after three KO punches. You don't see finishes like that very often, but it really worked well. The other matches on the show like Rey Mysterio v. Kane, Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry and even Batista vs. JBL were all well done.
