WWE: 20 Changes That MUST Happen On The Road From WrestleMania 30

14. Reels, Pits And Cabanas

Chris Jericho Highlight Reel In years past the WWE invested in live talk shows such as Carlito's 'Cabana', Chris Jericho's 'Highlight Reel' and the legendary Rowdy Roddy 'Piper's Pit.' These shows were not only highly entertaining and a great opportunity to develop superstars, create controversy and promote future events but they have collectively added to the history of the WWE. From Piper smacking Jimmy 'Superfly' Snukka in the head with a coconut, to Carlito spitting half chewed apple into his guests faces and to Jericho smashing Shawn Michael's eye socket into his Jeritron 5000, the WWE talk show is a sound investment for creating television gold. Recent attempts at a talk show segment such as Miz TV have more often than not folded because of a lack of will power on the WWEs part to invest in them from a creative standpoint. If the WWE wishes to embrace change, then perhaps revaluating the value and impact of the talk show segment is a change that cannot come soon enough. Imagine the many amazing scenarios that could arise from bringing back a talk show segment with a talented and charismatic host superstar, for example the WWE fans could witness an interview with The Wyatt Family or a segment holding The Authority to account in front of a live WWE audience! By changing its over reliance on backstage interview spots and reintroducing talk show segments, the WWE would not only become much more exciting but also allow its audience an opportunity to invest into and support up and coming talent.
