WWE: 20 Greatest Stables Of All Time

4. The New Hart Foundation (WWF)

BeFunky_zzz wwe 1997 whole hart The group came about after Bret Hart's legendary match against Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13. The match transformed Hart into a heel, Austin into a star, and the start of The Hart Foundation. Hart recruited his brother Owen Hart, Jim The Anvil Neidhart, The British Bulldog and the wildcard Brian Pillman into his newly found brotherhood. Lasting only 8 months, The Hart Foundation left their mark in a big way. Capturing every title the WWF had to offer, The Hart Foundation quickly became the most powerful and hated faction in the WWF. Constantly reminding the WWF crowd of how inferior the United States was to Canada, The Hart Foundation was easy to hate. Continuously finding themselves in feuds with some of the WWF's top faces such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, and The Legion of Doom. Disbanding in 1997, it just turned into a bad year for the group as a whole. Brian Pillman's sudden death and the the Montreal screw job ended any chance of the group reforming. Regardless of all the negativity, The Hart Foundation will go down as one of the most powerful factions in wrestling history. At least Canada's best faction. Key Members: Brett Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim The Anvil Neidhart, and Brian Pillman
