WWE 2002 PPVs From Worst To Best

3. No Mercy

The Good: More goodness from the members of the Smackdown Six. No Mercy featured WWE's 2002 Match of the Year, an absolute classic tag match between Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit and Edge/Rey Mysterio. Benoit and Angle won one of the best tag matches you'll ever see, becoming the first Smackdown Tag Champs in the process. But the goodness didn't stop there. Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had a bloody and compelling Hell in a Cell main event. Erasing memories of their Unforgiven disappointment, the two hosses buster their asses to produce another classic. The Bad: Triple H continued to stink up the Raw main event scene, this time having a nothing match with Kane. Of course, they weren't helped by the astoundingly bad Katie Vick storyline, but the work should have been a lot better. On the under card, Rob Van Dam and Ric Flair had one of the weirdest styles clashes ever. Like oil and water. The Rest: Watching this show, one thing is clear: Smackdown was mostly excellent and Raw sucked a great deal.
