WWE 2003 PPVs From Worst To Best

8. Unforgiven

The Good: Shawn Michaels carried Randy Orton to his best ever match. Although they'd have better ones together in later years, this showed just how much potential The Legend Killer had and just how good Michaels still was. Kane versus Shane McMahon's Last Man Standing match was fun in a slasher movie kind of way (and featured Shane's trademark jump off of a big structure).

Even though the match wasn't great, it was nice to see Goldberg get his moment in WWE. He should have won at SummerSlam, true, but when the moment arrived the fans responded positively to it. It was all downhill from here...

The Bad: WWE were actively trying to replace the announce team of JR and The King, wanting new, young faces behind the desk. The legendary duo lost an overly long match to Al Snow and The Coach, meaning they had to surrender the booth. Snow and Coach didn't last long as the Raw announce team...

Rob Van Dam versus Christian versus Chris Jericho sounds like an absolute thriller on paper. In practice, it was slow, plodding and, again, way too long (20 minutes).

The Rest: Test versus Scott Steiner No.24030483 was probably the best match of their drawn-out series, not that that's saying much. At least Steiner didn't fall off the apron this time.
