WWE 2004 PPVs From Worst To Best

12. Bad Blood

The Good: There was some decent wrestling at Bad Blood 2004. Most of it was provided by World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit, who pulled double duty. He teamed with Edge in the opener to face La Resistance in a good match and then took on Kane in the semi-main event, the two producing a compelling David versus Goliath battle. Elsewhere, Shelton Benjamin continued to look like a star-in-the-making in his Intercontinental Title loss to Randy Orton. Looking at matches and performances like these, it's amazing (and sad) that Benjamin never became a bigger deal than he was. Eugene and Jonathan Coachman, of all people, had a surprisingly entertaining comedy match. The Bad: The Hell in a Cell top-liner between Triple H and Shawn Michaels is not a match I ever want to sit through again. They went almost fifty minutes out there and, to top it off, the action wasn't even all that good, either. The whole thing just fell flat, much like a lot of this event. The Rest: At least there was no 'Redneck Triathlon' this year.
