WWE 2004 PPVs From Worst To Best

11. Armageddon

The Good: Great effort from the usual suspects but a pretty weak show overall. The fatal four way main event putting WWE Champion JBL against Eddie Guerrero, Booker T and The Undertaker is supremely underrated. Particularly good were the exchanges between Latino Heat and the Dead Man. They were the highlight of the show. Also overlooked is the opening Tag Title match. The teams of Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam and Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree worked hard and were given enough time to produce a nifty tag match. Spike Dudley and Funaki had the usual Cruiserweight Title affair (i.e. the crowd didn't care but the work was fine). The Bad: A lot of thrown-together matches, such as the Bashams versus Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas and John Cena versus Jesus. Not that Jesus, but Carlito's bodyguard (Aaron Aguilera, who regrettably suffered a major neck injury not long after this event). Dawn Marie versus Jackie Gayda was about as awful as you would expect. The Rest: It's (kind of) interesting to watch the Mike Mizanin/Daniel Puder Tough Enough boxing match. Despite being trained in MMA, Puder just about beats Miz on points. Was this a shoot or a work? For Puder's sake, let's hope it's the latter.
