WWE 2006 PPVs From Worst To Best

12. Survivor Series

The Good: Another wildly uneven offering from WWE, the 2006 Survivor Series was notable for one particularly nasty send-off... Some of the action was good, however. Chris Benoit and Chavo Guerrero had a decent wrestling match, as you'd probably expect. Still, it was clear watching it that Benoit's career was winding down. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Hardys and CM Punk easily disposed of Rated RKO, Gregory Helms, Johnny Nitro and Mike Knox in a traditional Survivor Series tag match. It was a glorified burial, sure, but at least it was fun and didn't drag on longer than it needed to. Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy had a compelling (if rushed) First Blood match. Performances like this helped convince people that Kennedy was a main event player. The Bad: The way WWE chose to send Lita off, in her last appearance, was tasteless. Okay, so Lita had been portraying the, for lack of a better term, 'promiscuous woman' on Raw for the last year-and-a-half, but did WWE really need to send Cryme Tyme out there to auction off her 'personal belongings'? Lita did a lot for WWE. Hell, she even broke her neck for them, but WWE chose to take one last shot at her and her character as she was on her way out of the door. A shame, really, considering the red carpet treatment that Trish Stratus had received just a couple of months prior. As far as the sucky matches, Batista vs. Booker T was laborious. Those two never clicked. The Rest: The Spirit Squad were ran over by Sgt. Slaughter, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes and Ron Simmons. As they should have been.
