WWE 2007 PPVs From Worst To Best

8. No Mercy

The Good: Although not the greatest wrestling show ever, No Mercy 2007 was compelling thanks to the status of the WWE Title following John Cena's pectoral tear the week before on Raw. Opening the show, Raw GM William Regal and Vince McMahon were ready to hand the belt to Cena's scheduled opponent, Randy Orton, when Triple H interrupted and was given a title shot. The Game beat The Viper in the opener to temporarily win the WWE Title. Vince then booked Triple H versus Orton again for the main event, a fantastic Last Man Standing match, which Orton won to reclaim the title. A decent storyline well-executed, this made the show interesting and kept fans hooked right until the end. Other entertainment was provided by an energetic six-man of Kennedy, Cade & Murdoch taking on Jeff Hardy, London and Kendrick, Fit Finlay versus Rey Mysterio and the shockingly fun Punjabi Prison match between Great Khali and Batista (which WWE had tried to put on about a year-and-a-half earlier). The Bad: CM Punk and Big Daddy V for 90 whole seconds? Sign me up! What a waste of Punk this was. 2007 really wasn't his year... Triple H's second of three matches that evening, against Umaga, was short and disappointing. The Rest: Remember the pizza eating contest between MVP and Matt Hardy? Yeah, me neither.
