WWE 2007 PPVs From Worst To Best

The Good: The show was built around the returns of Rey Mysterio and Triple H. Rey Rey had a good return match against frequent opponent Chavo Guerrero. His 'Silver Surfer' getup was questionable, mind. Kane and Finlay had a solid, no frills opener. Kennedy versus Umaga versus Carlito was a decent midcard match and John Morrison versus CM Punk was a bit better than their previous two PPV matches. Overall, it was a fun midcard. But the show was stolen by John Cena and Randy Orton's first ever WWE TV match. Boy did they deliver, contesting a dramatic 20 minute contest that had a 'big fight feel' to it. You may have become numb to this combination after years of WWE running it over and over and over again, but this one is worth going back and checking out. The Bad: Great Khali versus Batista was not a good match but then you weren't expecting it to be, were you? It was nice to see (a considerably less muscular) Triple H back and all but did he really have to steamroll through the talented King Booker in less than eight minutes? This was one of the things that led to Book leaving the company shortly after. It's hard to blame him really. The Rest: Shane McMahon spent a long time pitching a WWE Vs. Jackass concept for the show and it was all set to happen, before the Benoit tragedy went down and the daredevils/grossout specialists got cold feet. It's probably for the best that they didn't show up, considering Steve-O's history with a certain Samoan...
