WWE 2016 Slammy Award Predictions
1. Superstar Of The Year: AJ Styles

The man that would like to be introduced as "The Face that Runs the Place" has become exactly that. AJ Styles has hands down been the best performer in the WWE this year. It didn't take long for those who didn't know who he was when he debuted at the Royal Rumble to learn who they were dealing with. While feuding with Chris Jericho as a face the fans loved him. "AJ Styles" chants echoing throughout arenas quickly became the norm.
Turning heel and proceeding to #BeatUpJohnCena with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows only enhanced Styles' reputation as he became the man you love to hate. For a fair portion of the WWE Universe, attacking Cena only made them like Styles more. The dream match between the two at SummerSlam is certainly a Match of the Year candidate. Once drafted to SmackDown Live at pick #4, it didn't take long for Styles to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and solidify himself as the most important superstar on the roster.
Expect AJ Styles to make history, becoming the first ever superstar to win both the Slammy awards for Breakout Star of the Year and Superstar of the Year.
