WWE 2K16: 10 Reasons General Manager Mode Should Return

1. There's A Goal To Work Toward

The most important part of any video game is having a goal to work toward. Sure, enjoying yourself is also essential, but there's no point in playing a game if there isn't anything to accomplish. While WWE Universe Mode is fun for a time, it has the tendency to grow tiresome before long. You can do the same matches and feuds for only so long before you realize that the ending outcome never changes.

The goal of General Manager Mode is as simple as it gets: you must beat the opposing show in order to win. By the time WrestleMania rolls around, the authority figure with the most amount of viewers is awarded the GM of the Year Award, along with a few unlockables to boot. Regardless of whether you're going up against the computer or your friend, at least you have something to strive for throughout the wrestling year.

That said, players might find themselves beating the computer every year, but that's where the annual draft comes in. Switching up the rosters does a great deal in freshening feuds and champions. Providing endless hours of entertainment, it's clear GM Mode has always been far superior to WWE Universe Mode and it's due to make a comeback.
