WWE 2K16: 10 Reasons General Manager Mode Should Return
3. The Player Is Given More Creative Control
It's nice that WWE Universe is somewhat unpredictable in that anything can happen at any time, meaning someone can turn heel out of nowhere or a Superstar could be put on the shelf for a lengthy period of time. But what if it was that way in real life? You'd never be able to book out a storyline more than a few weeks in advance because you never know what might happen and it's difficult to adjust.
Shocking doesn't always equate to being good.
Logically, a general manager should be in control of their own show and what happens. General Manager Mode accomplishes that, giving players the ability to control their feuds, dictating when storylines should start and when they should end. And if you don't wish to script everything out and want some unpredictability, you can always simulate the matches instead of playing them yourself.
With WWE Universe Mode, you never know what you're going to get, and that can be both a good thing and a bad thing. If you have next to no creative control, you risk repeating rivalries, or turning people face and heel you don't want to turn.
