2. A Twist On Showcase Mode
This year's Showcase is centred around John Cena's 20-year WWE career. There's a superb twist on the established format though. This time, rather than stepping into the star wrestler's boots, you'll actually assume the role of his greatest foes instead.
2K say it'll stretch right back to 2002, which means that Kurt Angle match from SmackDown will be in there somewhere (surely). The mode will also bring back the team's celebrated "Slingshot Tech" that blends real-life footage with gameplay seamlessly. This is ruthless progression for a mode that needed some spark.

Fans are eagerly awaiting word on the full match lineup now. Last year's Rey Mysterio Showcase, whilst definitely still fun, was a bit of a disappointment in terms of choices. For example, did anyone want Gran Metalik vs. Rey more than his iconic WrestleMania 22 win over Angle and Randy Orton?
