WWE 2K25: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

Ten years.

Middle-rope dives have been in WWE video games for a decade, but only now can you make the seamless transition from the second turnbuckle to the third. It is hardly a game-changing development, but it is a quality-of-life feature that should have debuted alongside the introduction of second-rope assaults.

Scaling to the middle rope is achieved by tapping, not holding (that will see you move straight to the top rope), R1 on PlayStation or RB on Xbox and directioning the D-pad toward the turnbuckles. Ascending further, though, will require you to again hit the R1 or RB button, depending on your console of choice, and flick the left stick up, which will see your player quickly move between the turnbuckles. Again, this isn't a needle-moving aspect of the game, but rather a neat addition that will allow matches to feel natural, rather than formulaic and clunky.

The confusing part? You can't move back down!

Indeed, once you've moved to the top turnbuckle, you must be committed to diving from that position.
