Dusty Rhodes' eldest son has had a lengthy run defined by highs and lows, but was producing some of the most entertaining work of his career in June 2002. Goldust and Booker T had just started teaming as the imaginatively named BookDust, and became World Tag Team Champions by the end of the year, though Eric Bischoff forced them to split in 2003.

Goldust took on a stuttering gimmick afterwards, but the frequency of his appearances started declining. His WWE contract was allowed to expire that December, and he moved to the independent circuit, before returning to WWE for another run from 2005-06. He'd eventually rejoin the company again in 2008, departing in 2012, before mounting yet another comeback the following year.

Goldust has remained an active roster member ever since. He formed a memorable tag team with his brother, Cody Rhodes, then started working alongside R-Truth in 2016, following a brief run as a singles competitor.

Goldust recently split from Truth, reverting to a persona similar to his old Hollywood-centric gimmick, and the two look set to feud throughout the summer.
