Wrestlers always aim to be as good as him, and continue working hard to achieve their goal. Punk is a visionary, and the superstars backstage want to be like him, thus making him their role model. Wrestling fans, on the other hand, mostly dream of becoming a professional wrestler once in their lives, and CM Punk is the biggest role model they could aim to be. Punk is a magnificent talent, who, like everyone else in the world, worked his way to the top from the bottom. Most wrestling fans appreciate that, and they realize that Punk wasn't handed opportunities, but he still won championships and accolades and proved the world wrong. CM Punk is a modern-day example of any man who set his mind to something and worked extremely hard to achieve his goal. CM Punk is a perfectionist, and many superstars crave for that quality. Punk is a well-rounded superstar overall, and thus, he is an inspiration to many as he has worked hard and persevered all his life to be on the top of the food chain, and everyone respects Phil Brooks, the man, for that.
