2. When The Lamb Follows The Shepard
This is possibly the most controversial angle in this article, but here goes. Somewhere along the line Monday Night Raw kicks off with Zach Ryder being belted every which way by a debuting Bray Wyatt who, after destroying him, cuts a promo. In it, he claims that he and his family are here to represent those who have been left behind. These are the people, Wyatt claims, who people like the McMahons make it so difficult to make their voice heard- because they realise that if their anger is left unchecked, than they will topple the rich from their pedestals and watch as they grovel before them. Naturally, this promo gets Wyatt some attention, and throughout the next few weeks, Vince McMahon and Bray Wyatt trade words- though Vince is sure that people are around him in case Wyatt has any ideas to make good on his threats. Bray simply continues to taunt Vince, and after a couple of weeks begins saying to McMahon that he has won already and McMahon will see how at the next PPV. So come the next PPV and Wyatt will be lined up with an opponent of McMahon's choosing to defend him ( someone like Cena or Sheamus who could be wholesome and corporate at the same time ). The face will be on the edge of victory when all of a sudden Stephanie McMahon comes to the ring and somehow gets in the way. Wyatt seizes the opportunity and grabs Stephanie, forcing the face to lower his hands, after which Stephanie nuts him and Wyatt whacks him with some sort of weapon, causing a DQ but leaving the face in the middle of the ring. The next night on Raw Stephanie claims that Wyatt opened her eyes to the way that her father was poisoning the good men of the Wyatt family and she now sees Bray Wyatt as her true mentor and father figure ( I know Steph is older, but go with it). Mr McMahon begs Bray for his daughter back but gets beaten in the middle of the ring by the family while Bray and Stephanie watch on. Suddenly the Game's music hits and Triple H comes out to a massive reception. He clears the ring of the Wyatt family before extending his hand to Stephanie. Stephanie hesitates for a second, but then returns to the Wyatt family, retreating with the rest of them. Next week on Raw the Game cuts a promo, claiming that Wyatt is a cancerous boil on the WWE that needs removing before he infects more of the roster. He therefore challenges Wyatt to a No Disqualification Match at the next PPV to which Wyatt accepts. At the next PPV, the Game and Wyatt engage in a back and forth affair. As the match nears its conclusion, the Game goes to fetch his sledgehammer to use, but as he goes back to ram in Wyatt's face Stephanie runs in between them to protect Wyatt. Triple H is aghast for a second, which is all Wyatt needs to take advantage and snatch the hammer from the Game and begin wailing him with it before pinning him in a massive upset. Where the angle goes from here is anyone's guess. Wyatt could use Stephanie's influence to move for a World Title or could have a rematch with the Game with upped stakes (maybe with the COO's position on the line). The great thing about this is that it lets the McMahons help generate a talked about storyline that will put a new superstar on the map.
