WWE: 5 Reasons Why CM Punk Will Be Back

2. He's Not Yet The Best In The World He Wants To Be

It's a good thing that CM Punk calls himself the Best in the World: it's confident, cocky, and may just have ring of truth in it - but his quest to become the number one guy is not finished. There's no denying who the most over superstar is in the WWE right now (YES! YES! YES!) and coincidentally, the Bearded One also has a claim to being the best in-ring wrestler in the world today. He might not have the promo skills of Punk, but he is a very good and technically sound wrestler capable of terrific matches, which is in contrast to Punk's more herky-jerky style: sort of sloppy but just technically good enough to be believable. WWE writers have to be captivated with the potential storyline: who really is the best in the world? A CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan match will be of epic proportions, more so if it was for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Punk is a competitor: he will not let anybody lay claim to his title of Best in the World. The fiercest competitors only give up their craft when there is nothing left to prove, and Punk still has a title to uphold and a potential rival to upend. Besides, who would want CM Punk's last WWE moment to be just another guy chokeslammed by Corporate Kane on the announcer's table (not to mention that moment with El Torito in the Royal Rumble)? I'm sure even Punk himself would not want that.
