4. The Push of Talent
The happiest I've been in the last few weeks watching wrestling was when it was announced that the tag team Rhodes Scholars would be splitting up. Not because I didn't like them, in fact it was the opposite. Individually, Damien Sandown and Cody Rhodes are two of my favorite WWE superstars. This split was good news for fans of the duo as it's clear that the WWE is ready to push both of these guys to main event status. They both excelled this previous Wednesday on WWE Main Event. Rhodes opened the show with a great promo declaring his desire to be included in the Elimination Chamber match for the right to a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship and wrestled a good match with Sheamus. Sandow delivered a great promo of his own and actually ended beating Daniel Bryan, though it did include some interference from Kane. Add Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett into the mix, who at any moment will become shining stars in the WWE, and you can see where the WWE has reasons to be excited about the future.
